Last April 30, 2004, Dr. Bernardo M. Villegas' group visited the Informatica Technology Center (ITC) in Maharlika Village, Taguig, to receive a briefing on the Center's four (4) programs which are awaiting formal registration under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Formal inspection by TESDA of the facilities of the Center is tentatively scheduled for June 1-4, 2004.

Dr. Villegas gave some suggestions on how ITC can coordinate with the University Center Foundation and the Dualtech Training Center Foundation. The suggested projects can bring in additional resource for ITC to sustain its operation.

The visitors with Dr. Villegas are Mr. Jun Abejo of the University Center Foundation (UCF) and Mr. Arnold Morfe, Executive Director of Dualtech Training Center Foundation. The UCF organizes programs for volunteer students who can teach in seminars, build schools etc. Mr. Abejo proposed that UCF could collaborate with MVIF through their volunteer students who can provide English classes or similar assistance so as to provide students of ITC additional skills.

These suggestions are to be incorporated in ITC's adjusted plans for 2004
